If We Love Jesus

It will be because He first loved us. It will be caused by the Holy Spirit. We will want to be with Him. We will want to be with others who love Him. We will want to hear from Him. We will want to speak to Him. We will want to read about Him. We will want to hear about Him. We will want to please Him. We will want to follow Him. We will enjoy thinking about Him. We will not want to offend Him. We will want Him in our lives. We will want Him to change our lives. We will want others to love Him. We will want to tell others about Him. We will want to know all we can about Him even though what little we know of Him is the most satisfying knowledge we have ever had. We will want to experience more of His love. We will love others. We will even love our enemies.

1 John 4:19: We love him, because he first loved us.

Galatians 5:22a: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, . . .

Romans 5:5: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Psalms 16:11: Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

John 10:27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Psalms 19:14: Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Romans 6:4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Psalms 63:5-6: My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

There is no one else and nothing else we can remember and meditate upon that will satisfy us like remembering and meditating upon Him.
